Katie completed a Glass, Architectural Glass and Ceramics BA hons at the prestigious University of Sunderland - a world renowned centre of excellence for glass studies. Katie's main focus has continued to be inspired by the beautiful qualities of glass. This artist's main areas of interests are architectural glass, glass fusing and slumping, the material and techniques allow for endless exploration and personal development.

Katie's personal works are always stemmed with strong conceptual ideas; influences are taken from the environments that surround her. Colour and texture are always major considerations during the design and development process, ensuring that the works produced by Glittering Glass are both individual and captivating.
